Karen, who was a nurse, was particularly interested in the jewellery
and bought a tiara to top off her wedding outfit. After a fabulous
wedding in Rhodes, she came home to Spalding to realise there was a
gap in the market for stunning wedding jewellery at affordable
prices.
After research and a lot of
creations for family and friends, Karen, 29, decided to launch Small
Blessings this year and The Cresset Wedding Show will be the first
time she has put her wares to the public.
She said: “I wanted to make
something that’s affordable for everyone. Using freshwater pearls
and Swarovski crystals, they are so beautiful and really complete a
bride’s outfit but often they have a budget that can’t always
stretch that far.
“I work with the brides so it’s
within their budget. Whatever their colour scheme or theme, we work
together to incorporate this in the jewellery.”
The Cresset Wedding Show has
everything brides-to-be (and grooms) could imagine to make the day
of their dreams go without a hitch. From gowns and shoes, to rings
and cars, cakes, photography, suit hire and much more, there is
everything to make your special day perfect.
This year, The Cresset Wedding Show
Live is celebrating its 10th anniversary and the highlight of the
event will be two live fashion shows taking place at 12.30pm and
2.30pm where brides can see breathtaking dresses brought to life by
models on a catwalk. Bridesmaid dresses, suits for grooms and
outfits for the mother and father of the brides plus guests will
also feature in the show.
The event will also give visitors
the chance to take a look at the wedding reception facilities
offered by The Cresset itself.
The Cresset Wedding Show Live opens
at 11am on 28 February, with free entry
and free parking.
